I always knew that interior design was my passion. From a young age when I borrowed books of floor plans from my parents and could spend hours just looking through them, I always hoped that there was a career that would help me explore this passion. Arriving at Michigan State University in Fall of 2006, I found a program that would allow me to explore my creativity and help enrich people's lives. Design is a crucial element of life. Everything is a result of design; good or bad. I want to design spaces that are visually interesting and functional at the same time. I always wanted to find a career that I could be passionate about, something that would challenge me and allow me to do a variety of tasks. Interior design involves creativity, strategy, critical thinking, knowledge and precision. Every job is different and every day is different. It is a career that rewards both designers and users, all the while creating unique and visually appealing spaces.
